Help: If what I'd like ideally is to be able to erase C.S. Lewis' That Hideous Strength from my mind so that I could read it again for the first time, what should I read instead?

Have you read the previous two books in Lewis's Space Trilogy yet? They are fine as stand-alone novels, so if you haven't read them, I'd recommend the second book, "Perelandra," as being closest in spirit and style to "That Hideous Strength."
